About

The Ingleburn Business Chamber has a long and proud history dating back to the 1950’s. Our Chamber was reformed in 1972 and incorporated in 1992.
Over the years we have actively lobbied Federal, State and Local politicians for improvements to our area. We have achieved improved street lighting, traffic
signals, introduction of angle parking, introduction of bus bays and introduction of taxi ranks. We actively fought for the retention of the Fire Station in Ingleburn and were instrumental in lobbying for the southern entrance to the Hume motorway. We also fought for the closure of the railway crossing and the building of the railway overbridge. Our Chamber has also actively championed improved bus services for the area using our railway station as the central hub.
We have also submitted many plans and suggestions to the relevant departments of the State Government and Campbelltown City Council. Whilst our plans and suggestions have in the main not been acted on at least we have had recognition from both the State Government and Campbelltown City Council of our efforts to improve the local area.

The Ingleburn Business Chamber serves as a powerful business partner who assists in growing networks, strengthening connections and paves pathways to resources. The Chamber has regular communications with Local, State and Federal Governments as well as with business and community groups. The Chamber focuses on bringing members together, where they can learn, share knowledge and network in a relaxed and social environment.
