About the event
James has worked at the Reserve Bank of Australia for twenty years, and before that, he was employed at the Australian Treasury. His expertise covers several areas, including Commonwealth-State financial relations, macroeconomic analysis and forecasting, international markets, and contributing to the management of the RBA's banknote upgrade program.
James is the Deputy Head of Economic Analysis at the RBA, where he manages the business liaison program and the RBA's small network of state offices. The insights and perspectives from the RBA's liaison program play a crucial role in shaping the Reserve Bank Board's monetary policy decisions. James studied economics and commerce at the University of Queensland.
